The dance world holds a strong stereotype in regard to the perfect “dancer body.” We are here to break the mold. Regardless of physical differences that set us apart, we are one unified community, brought together by the love of dance. We teach our dancers to embrace what makes each individual different & beautiful. Alongside our high-quality dance education & experienced instructors, you will feel a sense of family & support that you will only experience at Center Stage.

What genres of dance do you offer?

We offer a wide variety of classes tailored to various age groups, levels, and preferences. Acrobatics, ballet, hip hop, jazz, leaps & turns, lyrical, modern, and tap are only some of your options when choosing classes at our studio.

What is the age range to participate in classes?

We begin offering classes for your children at the age of 2, and have students that stay with us well through their college years.

Do you have a recital at the end of the year?

Yes. Our annual recital is typically the weekend following Memorial Day Weekend. Our studio term runs with the school calendar (September-June) and culminates in an end-of-the-year recital, showcasing all of the hard work put in over the course of the year. Our shows typically do not exceed 2 hours, and are run very smoothly. They are located at the College of Staten Island.

Does my child need to audition to take classes?

There is no audition necessary to take class at our studio. Placement in your classes is at the discretion of your instructor. If we think a class is too simple or advanced, we will advise trying a different class in our schedule.

Can I take a free trial class before registering?

We offer all first-time students one free week of commitment-free classes while you figure out what is the best fit for you. Call or e-mail us to inquire about your free trial week today!

What form of payment is accepted?

We currently have all accounts payable on a monthly auto-pay, accepting all major credit & debit cards.
